Where are you from?

Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

Do you have much acting and/or production (stage or TV) experience? What was your acting debut, and how old were you?

I have had a fair bit of acting experience, mostly in what people like to refer to as 'amateur dramatics', due to the fact that it's dramatic, only amateur. Basically, that means they add unnecessary musical numbers in the middle of Hamlet's suicide monologue, or something. I've also done some film work as an extra on forthcoming, under-promoted Steve Coogan flick 'The Parole Officer'.
My debut was as 'First Hunter' in my infant school production of Snow White. I had one line, which required me to refuse point blank to chop her head off.
I didn't bother with acting again until I became 'Second Town Trader' in the high school production of 'Robin Hood'. I had more lines, and competed with Mr. Hood for lower meat prices. He was Tescos and I was Sainsburys. After that I went on to slightly larger roles, Reg Weston in 'Joby' which probably means nothing to nobody, but I can do a mean Yorkshire accent, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, a corporal in The Caucasian Chalk Circle, and the head turkey in my drama college's Christmas production, among others.

How did you get involved in Fluffy?

I read a post by Henry in the uk.media.tv.buffy-v-slayer newsgroup, which informed me of the plans for a Buffy parody using the medium of film. I emailed him. He replied. I subscribed to the mailing list. I came to the audition. Thus I am here.

Why did you audition for the part of vampire extra?

Actually, I didn't. I auditioned for Alex and The Count, but since I got neither, but still wanted to be in it, I became Second Vampire From The Right, or something. I wouldn't have minded a couple of lines, but I have some stuff to do, grabbing Fluffy and such. So it's not all bad. Also, I get to morph.

Is this your first film, or have you been involved in other films?

It's my first film where there's any focus on me personally. I've been an extra though, like I said above. Also videos were made of some of the other stuff I've been in, if that counts, but no power on this Earth will ever make me show them.

Are you a Buffy fan?

Yes. Yes I am.

What have you gained from your involvement in Fluffy?

Would it be too mundane to say 'experience'? Because I have that. Also an entirely inexplicable craving for Jammy Dodgers.

Do you have any claims to fame? (E.g. meeting famous people, appearances on TV / stage etc.)

Well... no. Not really. The bloke who used to play Mark Baldwin in Coronation Street was in the year above me in drama college, and once told me my performance of a Monty Python soliloquy was great. I may be persuaded to perform this one day, but at a price of 85p and a packet of Rolos.

Any hobbies / obsessions? (Things you enjoy doing)

I like doing music. I would advertise a site where songs are available to download (www.mp3.com/boxofgavrock) but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that.
Also have an interest in mythology and ancient history.

Any amusing acting / production cockups (faux pas) - things going wrong on stage etc.?

There was one time that my trousers ripped as I was walking off stage. Shoddy stitching, is all I can say.
Also I've been known to improvise lines if I don't properly know them. WITH HILARIOUS CONSEQUENCES, natch.

Any bizarre talents?

Answering different questions like in that Two Ronnies sketch from 1968.

Any amusing / mad stories about things you've done, or have happened to you?

Yes. But to mention the one I'm thinking of would probably lead to a court case if made public.

Any achievements you'd like to mention?

I've achieved a lot. Recently I've learned to be more assertive and more trusting of people.

Er, ten GCSEs, some music qualifications (Grade 8 theory, Grade 5 practical (Electronic Keyboard) a BTec in performing arts, the ability to recognise sarcasm at seventeen paces, and an intense hatred for wasps, bees and basic grammatical errors.

Any annoying habits? Are there any things that you say a lot?

Can't think of any. There probably are though, but that's really up to other people to decide. I probably think they're perfectly normal things to do and say.

Favourite films?

A Clockwork Orange, The Exorcist III, Reservoir Dogs, Silence of the Lambs, Scream, anything that pays closer attention to the plot than to saying 'Ooh, gosh, look what we can do with our special effects. Woosh. There goes a spaceship. Thud. There goes a dinosaur' CGI nonsense. It nearly always looks token to the film.

If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be?

Somebody holding a fairly termed recording contract with my name on it.

What's your favourite fluffy thing?

A beach towel with pictures of fish on it that I have used variously as a bath towel, beach towel and swimming towel since I was knee high to a vole.
