He was born in Akritiri on the southern tip of Cyprus, at
the RAF base there. He lived there for three months until the
Turks invaded, then moved to Compton Bassett in Wiltshire, 40
miles from Stonehenge. Since then he has also lived in Bridgend,
East Dereham, Fleet and Camberley. He's shortly moving to either
Yateley or Blackwater.
No-one has ever been able to trace the parents of his dad, who
apparently looks remarkably like Adolf Hitler, and was adopted back
in the 40's in Germany.
He made his acting debut at the age of 9, playing a butler in
an improvised school show. He can clearly remember singing a song
about chimney sweeping.
His favourite food is curry (homemade), and he likes nothing
better than a good drink of cider.
His favourite films are constantly changing, but just recently
they are Koyaanisqatsi and Crash. Musically, he likes
Mike Oldfield
and
The Eagles.
His most overused catchphrase, rather unoriginally, is "Doh!"
His younger brother was once on the BBC TV show "That's Life"
with Shakin' Stevens.
He went to Sixth Form College in Farnborough with the barman
at the pub where he first met the rest of the Foiled cast and crew.
He once went for an interview for a job at Castle Communications,
the record company, after not sleeping for three days. He got the
job.
When he gets the opportunity he likes to go scuba diving, and is
heading off to do some at Honolulu Beach in Hawaii this Christmas.
His pet-hates include the Spice Girls, and people who phone up
asking for advice and then completely ignore it. And cabbages.
He is a real gadget man and likes any small technology.
His ambition is to get his company to sign an expenses form for
drugs.
