New Adventure Of Ray & Scanner Filmed
Yesterday we finally shot the follow-up to UFO Spotters. This one again features the not-so-dynamic duo in a science fiction scenario - a close encounter with something not of this world...

Post-production will take a while, but keep an eye on this site - when the film is ready you'll read it here first.

In other news, the script for the as yet untitled second feature film is making progress - not as much progress as I'd hoped, but it's still going.

Filming delayed; new feature planned
The short film we were planning to shoot this month has had to be postponed until May, because of the unavailability of certain key people. This sort of delay is fairly normal - I've got used to it by now! Meanwhile, the second feature-length film from Foiled Productions is currently in the early planning stages. The first draft of the script hasn't even been completed yet - but I have 32 pages of notes so it's looking hopeful. Click on the "untitled" button on the left under "movies" for more information... link removed until more progress is made!

Next Ray/Scanner adventure
Fans of our popular short movie "UFO Spotters" will be interested to know that we've finally arranged a weekend to shoot another science-fiction-themed adventure of the nerdy duo Ray & Scanner, who first appeared in Foiled many years ago. Again, it's only going to be a couple of minutes long, but if it works it should be fun. Filming is planned to take place in mid-March.

A Christmas Update
The past few weeks I've spent learning how to create half-decent DVDs, with animated menus, trailers, out-takes, 5.1 surround sound and all that fun stuff.

My first project has been a DVD containing 12 short movies - most of which are only of interest to a few friends. It took some time to get right, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I even managed to get the "menu" button working correctly, so it goes to the last menu seen rather than always back to the top menu - sounds very easy but for some reason it was a nightmare to do!!

So does this mean that you'll soon be seeing DVD editions of all our movies? Maybe.
